Who is YouBooked better for?
YouBooked suits independent beauty and wellness pros who mainly want a diary on their phone. Its free plan has unlimited clients, appointments and services for one person, with WhatsApp reminders you send in one tap, so it costs less than Covered Beauty. If you want an online booking page too, Premium, at $59.99 a year on its site, still costs less than Covered Beauty Solo. Teams can buy packs of 5 to 20 accounts.
Decide whether you need deposits and forms.
YouBooked’s plans page doesn’t mention deposits, card payments or consultation forms. If no-shows cost you money, or your treatments need a patch test or health questions first, work out how you’d handle those before you choose. If a diary and a booking link are all you need, its lower price may suit you better.
How do I switch from YouBooked to Covered Beauty?
- Add a few treatments with the prices and durations you actually use.
- Set your working hours and open the booking page on your phone.
- Check the diary, a client record and the consent forms you need.
- Export your client list from YouBooked. If its columns are headed name (or first and last name), email and phone or mobile, upload it to Covered Beauty as it is. If not, paste those columns into our client template and upload that.
- Ask us about future appointments and any prepaid balances. Keep access to YouBooked until you have checked everything.
