WCAG 2.2 AA

Accessibility statement

Last updated April 2026

Our commitment

Hamr Ltd is committed to making Glass Book accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across both the public booking pages and the practitioner dashboard.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML throughout, so screen readers can navigate the booking flow and the dashboard logically.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for body text and UI controls.
  • Form fields with explicit labels, error messages and required-field indicators.
  • No reliance on colour alone to convey information — status badges always include text.
  • Responsive layouts that work on mobile, tablet and desktop without horizontal scrolling.
  • The cancellation flow can be completed entirely with a keyboard.
  • Time and date inputs use the platform’s native pickers where possible.

Known limitations

We are continuously testing and improving. Areas where we know we can do more:

  • The week calendar drag-to-reschedule interaction relies on pointer events; a keyboard-equivalent reschedule action is available via the appointment detail page.
  • Some illustrative SVG icons are decorative and currently rely on the surrounding text for context rather than explicit ARIA labels.
  • We have not yet completed an independent third-party audit. We aim to commission one within the first 12 months of public launch.

Reporting an issue

If you encounter a barrier using Glass Book, please contact us at hello@glassbook.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two working days and provide a remediation plan within 14 days.
