Is Covered Beauty a good Booksy alternative?

Covered Beauty gives an independent practitioner online bookings, deposits, consent forms and client records for £9/month. If you need shared diaries, Salon covers up to five people for £19/month. Both include unlimited bookings.

We do not market to your client list. You can export your records and cancel your subscription. Read our promise for the details.

Who is Booksy better for?

Booksy includes its core features in one subscription and has a consumer marketplace. Its optional Boost service is a separate decision from using the booking software.

Start with what you need each week.

Write down the jobs you expect your software to do: take a booking, collect a deposit, remind a client and find their last treatment notes. Try those jobs before paying for a wider set of tools. A lower subscription is useful only if the system fits your working day.

How do I switch from Booksy to Covered Beauty?

  1. Add a few treatments with the prices and durations you actually use.
  2. Set your working hours and open the booking page on your phone.
  3. Check the diary, a client record and the consent forms you need.
  4. Ask Booksy’s support team for a copy of your client list. If its columns are headed name (or first and last name), email and phone or mobile, upload it to Covered Beauty as it is. If not, paste those columns into our client template and upload that.
  5. Ask us about future appointments and any prepaid balances. Keep access to Booksy until you have checked everything.
