We claim setup takes about ten minutes. We mean the time from creating your Covered Beauty account to being able to send a booking link a real client could use. Here’s what happens in that window.
Minute 1: Account. You give us your salon name, your email, and a password. You pick the Solo or Salon plan. You land on your dashboard.
Minutes 2–3: Hours. The Welcome wizard opens. First step: opening hours. You pick the days you’re open and the time ranges. Sensible defaults are pre-filled so most salons just confirm.
Minutes 3–5: Your first treatment. You add your most-booked treatment — name, price, duration, deposit policy. (Most aesthetics clinics start with their consultation; most hair salons start with their signature cut.) You can add the rest later.
Minutes 5–7: A logo.Drop in a square logo. We don’t insist on this — you can come back to it — but salons that add one in setup look noticeably more polished on their booking page from minute ten onwards.
Minutes 7–10: Bank details for payouts.Connect Stripe so deposits land directly in your bank account. Stripe asks for sort code + account number + ID. This step takes a few minutes but it’s the only time you ever do it.
Done. You’re on your dashboard with a shareable booking link. You can post it to Instagram, put a QR code in your window, paste it into your email signature — and start taking real bookings.
“Most salons are taking real bookings the same morning.”
The bits you don’t need to do on day one: team invitations (Salon plan only), SMS reminders (paid add-on, can wait), custom domain (set up later when you’re ready), full treatment menu (add as you go), medical forms (the defaults are usable as-is for most aesthetics clinics).
If you get stuck anywhere in the ten minutes, email hello@covered.technology and a real person reads it the same morning. No bot, no ticket queue.
